Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Documentation and Collections Coordinator to join our team in the Department of Antiquities at the Ashmolean Museum. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing paper records, creating/enhancing digital records to agreed standards, and providing oversight and guidance to the Curators and Collections Management Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a museum or cultural heritage institution, with collections databases and/or collections management software, preferably relating to archaeological objects. They will possess excellent data entry skills, including accurate data cleaning, processing, and analysis, with an eye for detail and proven ability to work with precision and accuracy.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a permanent part-time position working 22 hours per week. This role requires working at heights, lone working, driving on University business, and regular manual handling.
