Social Work Practice Educator and Workforce Lead

Ashberry Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and registered Children's Social Worker to fill the role of Social Work Practice Educator and Workforce Lead. This is a dynamic position that requires strong leadership skills, with the successful candidate driving the development of the workforce in Children's Services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and supervising social workers, as well as a good understanding of workforce development and training. They will be motivated, inspired, and creative in their working approach, with a passion for leading the Academy forward.

The responsibilities of this role include:

* Supporting and leading Workforce Development from a practice perspective across Children's Services;
* Providing leadership to all Practice Development Officers and Workforce Coordinators in the team;
* Recruiting, inducting, and training team members;
* Developing and delivering robust training programmes across the workforce (e.g., ASYE, Apprenticeships, Step-ups);
* Coordinating, planning, designing, and evaluating training opportunities for all learners.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the development of the workforce in Children's Services and make a real difference in the lives of children and families. Estimated salary: £62,000 - £72,000 per year.
