Develop a comprehensive Medical Workforce Strategy to support the recruitment and retention of General Internal Medicine Trainees in collaboration with the Head of School of Medicine. This role will contribute to the School's Operational Programme and inform the development of a Regional Education Program.

The post holder will be a key member of the School Board, providing strategic input on workforce development and medical education. In partnership with the Head of School, they will lead on the creation and implementation of a Recruitment and Retention Strategy, addressing the needs of the school and its trainees.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing workforce strategies, preferably within the healthcare sector. They should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

A strong understanding of the NHS structure and policies is desirable, as is knowledge of education programs and training initiatives within the healthcare industry. The post holder will be expected to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

As a member of the School Board, the post holder will participate in decision-making processes and contribute to the development of policies that impact the school and its trainees. They will work closely with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals and objectives.

The estimated salary for this position is £**43,860 - £53,035 per annum**, depending on experience and qualifications. NHS England offers a competitive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.

To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route, you will usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher. Please note that the Home Office requirements must be met for sponsorship to be considered.
