We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Social Worker to fill the role of Children's Social Work Academy Program Director. This is a challenging position that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of workforce development and training.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing and supervising social workers, as well as a good understanding of workforce development and training. They will be motivated, inspired, and creative in their working approach, with a passion for leading the Academy forward.

The responsibilities of this role include:

* Supporting and leading Workforce Development from a practice perspective across Children's Services;
* Providing leadership to all Practice Development Officers and Workforce Coordinators in the team;
* Recruiting, inducting, and training team members;
* Developing and delivering robust training programmes across the workforce (e.g., ASYE, Apprenticeships, Step-ups);
* Coordinating, planning, designing, and evaluating training opportunities for all learners.
