Production Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Assistant Manager to join our team at Mansell Recruitment Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of production schedules, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Oversee the production process to ensure smooth operation and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure adequate resources and materials are available for production
- Streamline production processes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Prepare and present reports on performance and progress to senior management
- Ensure safe use of equipment and organize repairs as needed
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Manage a team of 8 staff members on a day-to-day basis
- Experience in a similar production role within a manufacturing or engineering organization
- Previous experience in a battery manufacturer is beneficial
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Results-driven approach and strong IT skills
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with 3 breaks totaling 1 hour
28 days of holiday per year, including bank holidays, with 3 days reserved for between Christmas and New Year
Salary up to £32,000, with a monthly bonus paid in arrears
