Operations Coordinator Job Description

CitySprint is seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our courier services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of teams to ensure efficient operations
  • Arrange collections, transit routes, and deliveries
  • Input event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments
  • Liaise with Operations departments and suppliers to ensure timely imports
  • Provide customers with updates on exceptions or issues
  • Request and enter PODs from relevant agents
  • Report discrepancies to Managers
  • Provide quotes to customers
  • Monitor emails for the Service Centre
  • Work with suppliers to deliver a seamless customer experience
Requirements:
  • Experience in supporting dispatching or allocating vehicles
  • Treats people with respect under all circumstances
  • Responds promptly to customer and supplier needs
  • Ensures jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales
  • Deals with client operational queries effectively
  • Is proactive in suggesting service improvements
  • Skilled listener and able to empathize with customers
  • Ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision
