Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with departments and assist line managers in understanding and implementing policies and procedures
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the organization's culture
- Liaise with various stakeholders involved in policy areas such as performance and health and safety
- Support recruitment and onboarding, including developing job descriptions, preparing job adverts, and selecting candidates
- Develop and implement policies, advise on pay and remuneration issues, and undertake regular salary reviews
- Negotiate with employees and their representatives on issues related to pay and conditions
- Administer payroll and maintain employee records, interpret and advise on employment law, and deal with complex employee relation cases
- Develop HR planning strategies, plan and deliver training, and manage the employee lifecycle
- Business awareness and management skills
- Organizational skills and ability to understand detailed information
- IT and numeracy skills, with strong IT skills required for managing computerized payroll and benefits systems
- Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
- A proven track record of making a difference and leading by example
- The ability to analyze, interpret, and explain employment law to line managers and employees
- Integrity and approachability, as managers and staff must feel able to discuss sensitive and confidential issues
- Curiosity and willingness to challenge organizational culture where necessary
- The ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional manner
- Influencing and negotiating skills to implement personnel policies
- Potential to handle a leadership role and collaborate with Senior Management
