We are committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all our students. Our safeguarding team works closely with colleagues across the institution to identify and respond to potential risks and threats to student wellbeing.

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead will play a critical role in supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Head of FE Pastoral Support in ensuring that all students receive the necessary support and guidance to thrive academically and personally.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues across the institution to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance to students and staff on safeguarding issues.
About You

We are looking for an experienced and qualified individual who is passionate about safeguarding and student wellbeing. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this role is £31,403 - £34,879 per annum, depending on experience.
