We are seeking a Safeguarding Children Coordinator to join our team at Wales Medicines Strategy Group. As a key member of our Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for delivering a safeguarding service to the highest standard.

Your main duties will include delivering specialized safeguarding supervision, working with key professionals and agencies to develop and deliver services that protect children and young people from harm. You will also participate in risk assessments and provide expert advice on the day-to-day management of children and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate specific expertise in children's health needs, maltreatment, and local arrangements for safeguarding and protecting children. Relevant qualifications and experience will also be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a safeguarding service to the highest standard.
  • Participate in risk assessments and deliver specialized safeguarding supervision.
  • Work with key professionals and agencies to contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of services designed to protect children and young people from harm.

The estimated salary for this position is £48,159 per annum, reflecting the importance of your role in safeguarding children's welfare.
