About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Systems Manager to join our team, leading on data insights and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, systems, and technical aspects of HR, with excellent analytical skills and ability to drive strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly payrolls, ensuring timely processing and checks are in place
  • Lead annual salary review and bonus processes, identifying process improvements for efficiency
  • Manage HRIS, systems, and third-party suppliers for data integrity, compliance, security, and streamlined processes
  • Implement new HR technology to enhance existing systems and processes
  • Partner with the People Team to assess and improve current HR operational processes
  • Manage right to work and visa processes, including verifying documents and maintaining accurate records
  • Oversight of IR35 compliance, managing determinations, and advising on best practice to mitigate risk
  • Lead employee benefits administration, including healthcare and pension projects
  • Project manage annual gender and other pay gap reporting processes

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A CIPD qualification (or equivalent) and extensive HR experience in complex organisations
  • Prior experience delivering monthly payroll and reward-related processes
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law, IR35 regulations, data protection, pensions, and immigration law
  • A proven track record of leading HRIS and Payroll systems projects on time and budget
  • In-depth knowledge of HR systems and technical solutions
  • Proficiency in data analysis via Excel and Smartsheet
