The International Society for Bayesian Analysis is seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team as a Data Analyst in Biomedical Imaging. As a member of our research team, you will play a key role in developing statistical and machine learning methods for the analysis and interpretation of digitised peripheral blood smear images. Your expertise in data analysis and visualisation will help us to advance the field of biomedical imaging and improve patient outcomes. Our research project is funded by the Alan Turing Institute and the British Heart Foundation, providing a unique opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for image analysis
• Collaborate with researchers to design and conduct experiments
• Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns
• Present findings at scientific conferences and publish in top-tier journals

Requirements:
• PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering or machine learning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with programming languages such as R or Python
