Astrostatistics and Machine Learning Fellow

The University of Cambridge's Institute of Astronomy invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Astrostatistics and Machine Learning. The successful candidate will work on projects that combine statistical methods with astronomical data analysis, under the supervision of Professor Kaisey Mandel.
As an astrostatistician and machine learner, you will apply advanced statistical methods to analyze large datasets from astronomical surveys, and develop new machine learning algorithms to extract insights from these data. You will also contribute to research papers and presentations, and collaborate with other researchers within and outside the university.
**Requirements:**
- PhD in Astronomy, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong background in statistical methods and machine learning.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
