Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistical Research Specialist to join our team at The International Society for Bayesian Analysis.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and experience in developing statistical methodology or machine learning algorithms for digitised peripheral blood smear images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical methods for image analysis
  • Design and conduct research studies independently
  • Draft high-quality manuscripts for publication in top-tier journals
  • Present research findings at international conferences

The salary range for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Located in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, Strangeways Research Laboratory, Cambridge, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team of researchers.
