About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Care After Death Service at Swansea Bay University Health Board. We are seeking a highly skilled Support Officer for Bereavement Services to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide support to bereaved individuals and families, facilitating smooth discharge of duties related to death certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate support to bereaved families, friends, and carers following the death of a loved one.
  • Collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure timely completion of death certification, adhering to forthcoming requirements by the Medical Examiner Service within NHS Wales.
