Care After Death Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Care After Death Support Specialist in the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our multi-faceted team, you will provide immediate support to bereaved families, friends, and carers following the death of a loved one.
The successful candidate will work closely with clinical colleagues to ensure timely completion of death certification, adhering to forthcoming requirements by the Medical Examiner Service within NHS Wales.
Main Duties- Provide compassionate support to individuals experiencing bereavement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth discharge of duties related to death certification.
The role involves working within a 7-day roster, with an extended day service available from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You will be part of a supportive service providing expert knowledge in ensuring timely completion of death certification across the Health Board.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
