About the Role

The Utilities Engineering Lead will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Maintenance Technicians and Engineers to deliver a cost-effective maintenance service ensuring the safe, reliable operation of all utilities plant and equipment and compliance with all relevant legislative and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

Utilise GPS tools and best practices to identify opportunities to continuously improve equipment and maintenance team performance.
Ensure that all services are provided in full compliance with all regulatory, legal and corporate standards.
Accountable for all aspects of the Utilities engineering budget, providing detailed cost reports and ensuring a cost effective maintenance service that delivers reliable equipment to the agreed budget.
To assess short, medium and long term resource requirements and ensure appropriate recruitment, training and development of staff.
Through effective performance management, ensure the Utilities team remain green across all aspects of Engineering, EHS and Quality compliance
Ensure the timely and appropriate submission and progression of CAPEX projects in order to maintain the reliability and integrity of Utilities operations and infrastructure.

Requirements

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Substantial Utilities operational experience, strong technical understanding of utilities equipment and operations.
Experienced engineering leader
Good understanding of engineering principles, standards and regulations, GMP, GxP etc.
Good understanding of Maintenance Management Systems and Strategies
Good understanding of RBM, RCM, FMEA.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
