Project Engineering Lead

About the Role
GSK is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Lead to join our team at the Barnard Castle site. As a key supplier of some of GSK's blockbuster products, the site contributes revenues of ~$2Bn annually.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of engineering design, implementation, and commissioning of capital projects on the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a multi-discipline engineering team within capital projects
- Provide technical leadership for the capital projects engineering team
- Guide and support discipline engineers
- Allocate resources and assist with prioritisation of capital projects
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards
- Manage the interface between the client and the EPCM provider
- Support commissioning and qualification tasks
Requirements
- Qualified to HNC level in an appropriate discipline
- Significant experience in a multi-discipline project management team
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (cGMP and QMS)
