Utilities Engineering Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Utilities Engineering Lead to join our team at GSK. As a Utilities Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Maintenance Technicians and Engineers to deliver a cost-effective maintenance service ensuring the safe, reliable operation of all utilities plant and equipment and compliance with all relevant legislative and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise GPS tools and best practices to identify opportunities to continuously improve equipment and maintenance team performance.
* Ensure that all services are provided in full compliance with all regulatory, legal and corporate standards.
* Accountable for all aspects of the Utilities engineering budget, providing detailed cost reports and ensuring a cost effective maintenance service that delivers reliable equipment to the agreed budget.
* To assess short, medium and long term resource requirements and ensure appropriate recruitment, training and development of staff.
* Through effective performance management, ensure the Utilities team remain green across all aspects of Engineering, EHS and Quality compliance
* Ensure the timely and appropriate submission and progression of CAPEX projects in order to maintain the reliability and integrity of Utilities operations and infrastructure.
Requirements:
* Substantial Utilities operational experience, strong technical understanding of utilities equipment and operations.
* Experienced engineering leader
* Good understanding of engineering principles, standards and regulations, GMP, GxP etc.
* Good understanding of Maintenance Management Systems and Strategies
* Good understanding of RBM, RCM, FMEA.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Educated to degree level (Mech/Elec/Chemical/Asset Management)
* Chartered Engineer
* Lean six sigma qualification
* DMAIC
* Asbestos P405
* NEBOSH Certificate
