Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OS Engineering Technician to join our Site Services Engineering Team on a permanent basis. As an OS Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities and utilities, which are critical to the operations of the entire site. You will also provide support to Safety & Quality improvement actions, engineering projects, and plant improvements, ensuring work is carried out to GMP standards and in compliance with both company and external standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day breakdown repair cover of production/plant equipment, building services, and utilities.
  • Complete preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, including support for area projects, new product introduction, and engineering change control.
  • Perform MERPS activities, including orders, notifications, data maintenance, and ordering of plant spares.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and quality actions, including equipment upgrades and monitoring of utility systems and building services.
  • Assist in the calibration laboratory with calibrating site instruments and operate and maintain quality water plants and HVAC systems.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience are essential, including an engineering apprenticeship with an industrial focus.
  • Multiskilled technician with an engineering HNC and a level of appropriate practical engineering knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrate competence in current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
  • Strong experience of working in a complex GMP environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding required to maintain and fault-find on modern utilities and building services equipment.
