">Your Role and Responsibilities">

This role requires an experienced HR Advisor to work alongside the Anderson Moores Leadership Team, providing day-to-day operational support to the hospital.

Responsibilities include assisting in the provision of sound advice and assistance to ensure a full understanding of processes, policies, and procedures.

  1. Act as the lead for the local People Team, ensuring they provide a positive, proactive, consistently high level of service to line managers and associates alike.
  2. Develop and implement training programmes for line managers on effective team/people leadership and the implementation of company policies, procedures, and systems.
  3. Manage the effective implementation of maternity/paternity and family leave policies.
  4. Stay up-to-date with employment legislation changes and ensure compliance in all People activities.
  5. Provide timely, professional HR advice to associates on HR policies, procedures, and terms & conditions of employment.
  6. Manage the appraisal process, including quality assurance, coaching, and conducting meetings with line managers.
  7. Ensure accurate maintenance and retention of personnel files and records according to legal requirements.
  8. Monitor and manage sickness and holiday absence to ensure the process is followed correctly.
  9. Lead internal investigations, ensuring processes and policy are followed in a timely manner.
  10. Support colleagues experiencing ill health and utilise services such as EAP and occupational health when necessary.
  11. Manage colleagues taking regular or long-term sickness absence and advise line managers on implementing the absence policy as needed.
  12. Support and advise line managers on effective performance management, conduct, and/or capability issues.
  13. Oversight of visas, right to work documentation, and supporting line managers and colleagues regarding these matters.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a salary range of £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
