Role Purpose

As a Private Client Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting clients on all aspects of wealth work. This includes reviewing existing estate planning documentation, preparing wills, and advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters.

You will work closely with the wider private client team to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Your excellent working knowledge of inheritance tax and capital gains tax will enable you to provide expert advice on trust and estate planning matters.

You will also be responsible for preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and old style Enduring Powers of Attorney. Your ability to deal with termination of trusts will be essential in ensuring that our clients' interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities

As a Private Client Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of the wider private client team to support clients on all aspects of wealth work
  • Providing appropriate supervision and support to more junior team members with regard to their wealth caseloads
  • Efficient administration, billing, and cost recovery to meet agreed targets
  • Assisting in the implementation of the departmental business plan and the firm's business plan
  • Displaying a desire to make a wider contribution to the business
