Higgs LLP is seeking a skilled Private Client professional to join our team. As a Private Client Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting clients with their wealth management needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and advise on estate planning documentation, including lifetime trusts and will structures.
  • Prepare and advise on wills, including those to absorb qualifying business assets and agricultural assets.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of inheritance tax and capital gains tax in the context of individuals and trusts.
  • Advise on pilot trusts associated with pension planning and life policies.
  • Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
  • Deal with termination of trusts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of private client law and taxation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide supervision and support to junior team members.
  • Efficient administration and billing skills.
  • A strong profile and network within the business community.
