About the Role

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Single Point of Access team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient running of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing referrals, processing paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems, ensuring seamless workflow and minimizing delays.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, correspondence, and documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Establish and maintain electronic and manual filing systems, ensuring secure and accessible storage of sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Qualification in administration (NVQ level 2-4) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
