The Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is in search of a dedicated Administrator

We are looking for organized and proactive individuals, to become an integral part of our supportive team located in Kent.

About the Role:

This position provides an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment that supports a committed clinical team. You will work closely with various healthcare professionals, including Consultant Psychiatrists, Community Mental Health Nurses, and Occupational Therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the welcoming voice for incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Oversee the scheduling of appointments, ensuring efficient management of the team's calendar.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation and correspondence.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as organizing meetings and coordinating interpreters.

Primary Duties of the Role

The diverse responsibilities of the Administrator will encompass:

  • Assisting the team in managing work requests through the administrative inbox, including processing referrals on the patient administration system.
  • Managing diaries and scheduling clinic appointments.
  • Engaging with patients, caregivers, relatives, and external stakeholders.
  • Drafting letters and reports through audio typing and/or copy typing.
  • Utilizing the patient record system with training provided.
  • Answering and screening phone calls while managing the administrative mailbox.
  • Organizing and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Providing reception cover as needed.
