Job Title: Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team at esure Group. As a Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of operational and financial risks within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-line oversight of operational and financial risks, ensuring the risk management framework is embedded within the business.
  • Help business teams identify, document, and manage their key risks and controls.
  • Provide objective advice and challenge risks and issues, ensuring key risk processes are understood and followed.
  • Support the Head of Risk and Capital in running the Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process.
  • Conduct second-line control assessments and investigations or produce reports on risk or control issues.
  • Act as the Expert Administrator of the Xactium Risk System.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in relationship building and robust oversight and challenge of the 1st line.
  • Strong financial foresight.
  • Understanding of risk quantification methodologies and tools.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and build succinct reports.
  • Experience in a risk, assurance, or audit role.
  • Good understanding of the financial services or other regulated industry.
  • Agile experience.
  • Financial crime experience.
