Job Description

This role involves designing and delivering activity programs that cater to the needs and preferences of our service users. You will work closely with the Manager and care staff to develop and implement programs that promote social and mental stimulation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and implement activity programs for various service user groups.
  2. Collaborate with care staff to identify service users' needs and preferences.
  3. Lead and supervise individual and group activity programs.
  4. Maintain accurate records of service users and contribute to other establishment records.
  5. Provide personal care to service users as needed.
  6. Oversee volunteers and direct them as necessary.
  7. Contribute to the development and review of individual care plans.

Requirements:

  1. Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
  2. Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
  3. Awareness of anti-discriminatory practices and attitudes.
  4. Previous experience working in a caring role or within the community.
  5. Experience planning and organizing activities.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Effective organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits
