Job Description:

South Shore Health System is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for transporting patients and equipment within the hospital, providing prompt and courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers.

This is a weekend day position, every Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

The ideal candidate will have previous hospital experience and be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. They will also be able to be on their feet for most of their shift.

Responsibilities:
• Transport patients and equipment within the hospital
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers
• Handle gas cylinders and oxygen administration devices
• Answer phones and dispatch services
• Log calls and inform departments of patient departure and return

Requirements:
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Ability to be on feet for most of shift

Estimated Salary: $42,000 per year
