About the Role

South Shore Health System is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic Lead to provide high-quality patient care and lead our team of paramedics. As a Primary Care Paramedic Lead, you will be responsible for providing primary care and advanced life support to critically ill and injured patients.

You will examine, screen, treat, and coordinate health services for patients, conduct post-hospital release follow-up care, patient education, and develop reports for the Community Paramedic Program. The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of paramedics in providing primary care and advanced life support to critically ill and injured patients.
  • Examine, screen, treat, and coordinate health services for patients.
  • Conduct post-hospital release follow-up care, including monitoring medication, dressing changes, and checking vital signs.
  • Develop and complete appropriate reports and templates for the Community Paramedic Program.
  • Maintain records of vehicles, supplies, training, and daily work.
