Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Liverpool

Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:45pm

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a calm, patient, and nurturing individual to support a male student in Year 3 with global developmental delay and low ability. This full-time role involves working closely with the student to provide tailored, one-on-one support throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to the student during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete tasks suited to their ability level.
  • Assist with implementing the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP), adapting strategies to support their learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure the student's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly global delay.
  • Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages the student's development at their own pace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
