SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Exclusive Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work across Key Stages 4 & 5 at a school in Bootle, supporting pupils with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with Autism in a Key Stages 4 & 5 setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with Autism
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Current DBS registration or willingness to apply for a new one
