Our client, a leading employer based in Newry, is seeking a highly motivated Junior People & Culture Officer/HR Assistant to join their expanding team. Job Description
The Junior People & Culture Officer/HR Assistant will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager in delivering a full range of HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, culture and wellbeing initiatives, absence monitoring, and system maintenance. The role will also involve coordinating employment investigations, probation reviews, and maintaining accurate training records.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment administration processes
- Coordinating induction and onboarding for new employees
- Handling administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle
- Assisting in planning and delivering employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Coordinating employment investigations and probation reviews
- Monitoring absences across the organization
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a 3rd-level qualification, preferably CIPD membership or working towards it. Recent relevant experience working in an HR role (2-3 years) is also desirable. Excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and passion for HR are essential.
