Specialist School Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teaching assistant to support students aged 6-11 years old with their educational needs at our specialist school in Surrey. As a member of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans
  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, promoting inclusivity and academic success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, tracking growth and improvement over time

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or teaching
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and students alike
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust and rapport with students and staff

Compensation: £21,995.67 - £23,514.45 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus a welcome bonus of £1,000 *

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, term-time only, Monday to Friday
