As a Learning Mentor and Academic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of students at Randstad Education.



Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Mentor and Academic Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students and help them achieve their full potential.



About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents. You will be responsible for providing academic support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group academic support to students, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans to promote student engagement and motivation
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas where additional support may be required
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to provide regular updates on student progress and involvement in goal setting


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience working with students, either in an academic or pastoral capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential


What We Offer
