Academic Mentor

As an Academic Mentor, you will have the opportunity to work with students aged 4-11, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires patience, understanding, and a genuine desire to help young people succeed. In this term-time position, you will work closely with class teachers to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience.
Your key responsibilities will include providing in-class support, assisting with lesson planning, and building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. You will also need to communicate effectively with teachers and staff to ensure a smooth learning experience. To be successful in this role, you should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, a flexible and positive attitude, and a valid Enhanced DBS check. Additionally, you should have GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above).
