Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations
  • Develop and implement robust processes to ensure store standards and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Utilize agreed systems to manage regional functions, analysis, and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company promotional and commercial guidelines.
  • Liaise with the Operations Department to optimize store stock positions and efficiency.
  • Manage the scheduling, budget control, and management of Area Sales Managers, Cluster Managers, and store hours.
  • Provide day-to-day management and leadership of the retail business.
Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Create working schedules to ensure labour spending is under budget and used effectively.
  • Liaise with the Finance Director to drive efficiencies and deliver a profitable portfolio.
  • Control costs of stationery and consumable items in store.
  • Oversee regional field team travel and adherence to the company travel and expenses policy.
Communications and Inter-Department Links
  • Coordinate with HQ teams for operational process execution.
  • Develop strong inter-departmental links with cross-functional department heads.
  • Provide weekly reports on regional, cluster, and individual store performance, changes to process, and operational highlights.
  • Own the weekly retail store bulletin and relative store communications.
  • Attend monthly sales review meetings with the Managing Directors.
Staff Development
  • Recruit, train, and manage team members to ensure targets are met.
  • Identify key areas to drive sales performance and implement action to achieve sales growth.
  • Support and create initiatives for company KPIs, the staff incentive scheme, and other prioritized initiatives.
  • Set an example for team members of commitment, process, and activities, work ethics, and personal character.
Projects
  • Contribute to the redevelopment of sales training and staff development training plans.
  • Lead the review and relaunch of the new start welcome pack, contents, and internal system process.
  • Review training practices, E-Learning processes, and modules to align with company goals.
