**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader Front of House to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, and driving sales and profit growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Front of House team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the Front of House area, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Monitor and control stock inventory, analyzing consumption and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote and publicize the GDK brand, driving business growth and customer loyalty.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Monitor Front of House operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards.
  • Take responsibility for the business performance of the Front of House, driving sales and profit growth through effective management and leadership.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to company uniform standards, maintaining a professional and consistent image.
  • Meet and greet guests, organizing table reservations and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Organize and supervise shifts, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Prepare cash drawers and provide petty cash as required, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist in any Front of House position when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
  • Take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity, and a positive attitude within the working environment.
  • Complete all necessary daily reports, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Attend training and meetings as required, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as designated by Operations Manager, supporting the business and driving growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor/Duty Manager within the Food Industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in guest service management, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Extensive knowledge of guest care, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Financial management skills, with the ability to control costs and drive sales growth.
