Tutor for Students with Special Educational Needs

Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide bespoke lessons for students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with students who have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) and be able to create tailored learning plans to meet individual needs.
This is a flexible role that can be worked on a part-time or full-time basis, with the option to manage your own diary. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality education support to students in a home-based setting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of special educational needs and be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. They will also be able to work effectively with parents and carers to ensure that students receive the best possible education.
As a tutor with Connex Education, you will have access to funded formal qualifications, including Level 5 TEFL, as well as a wellbeing programme and refresher training for life in the 21st-century classroom. You will also be required to hold a QTS or equivalent qualification and have a driving license (preferred).
