Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom Teaching Personnel Full time

We are seeking dedicated and passionate tutors to join our team at Teaching Personnel. If you have a passion for teaching and supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), we encourage you to apply.

As an SEN tutor, you will have the opportunity to work one-to-one with students who require additional support due to their unique needs. You will develop personalized learning plans to help them achieve their academic goals and build their confidence in core subjects such as Maths and English.

This role involves working with students from primary to GCSE level, providing educational sessions face-to-face in a public space or at the student's home. You will need to be highly engaging, able to build effective relationships with children, and manage behavior strategies to create a supportive learning environment.

To be successful in this role, you will require QTS or equivalent qualifications, experience in SEN/SEMH, and the ability to adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.

Benefits of working with us include:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £25-£30, paid weekly
  • Bespoke online reporting platform for logging attendance details and feedback
  • Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses, as well as assessment tools and resources

In addition to these benefits, you will have the opportunity to choose your own schedule, selecting the number of students you wish to work with and the hours that suit you best. With a lighter workload and reduced paperwork, you will have more time to focus on what matters most - supporting your students' learning and development.
