About This Opportunity: SMART Education Recruitment is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be working in a home setting, providing one-to-one support to students from various backgrounds and with different needs.

**Job Summary:**
This role involves working as a Tutor in Birmingham, providing academic support to students from key stage 1 to further education. The successful candidate will have experience in planning lesson plans and activities for tutoring, ensuring the curriculum is covered sufficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities for tutoring, focusing on individual student needs.
- Work closely with students to support their re-engagement in education, developing a creative and versatile teaching style.
- Utilize professional teaching qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE), subject specialism, or extensive tuition experience to support students with English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Collaborate with students who require additional support, including those with SEN/SEMH or disengaged young people or looked after children.

**Requirements:**
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE), Subject Specialism, or extensive tuition experience supporting with English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Experience, Knowledge, and Understanding of working with children/young people with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH).
- Experience, Knowledge, and Understanding of working with disengaged young people or looked after children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire one.
