Tutor for Students with Special Needs
We are seeking a Tutor to support the learning and development of children and young people with special needs. Our partner, Warwickshire County Council and Coventry City Council, provides a high standard of education focusing on students aged 6 to 18 with MLD, ASD, and ADHD needs.
The successful Tutor will be confident and adaptable in working with students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5, providing 1:1 support and helping them meet their goals.
We welcome qualified individuals who have worked with MLD, ASD, and ADHD students.
The ideal candidate will possess a calm, patient, and caring personality, as well as a good understanding of child and adult protection and safeguarding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with MLD, ASD, and ADHD needs in their home or public settings
- Provide 1:1 and small group tuition in Maths, English, Science, and primary curriculum subjects
- Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure student progress and achievement
