Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic PMLD Tutor to join our team at SMART Education Recruitment. As a PMLD Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with complex special educational needs (SEN) in Birmingham. With a strong focus on flexible working hours and a competitive salary of £26.62 per hour, this role presents a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable learners.

This position requires a deep understanding of SEN and the ability to create a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with students who require sensory learning and have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective lesson plans. Regular communication with parents and guardians will also be an essential aspect of this role.

Key Duties and Qualifications:
  • Deliver high-quality individualized tuition to students with diverse SEN
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to each student's needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families
  • Support the re-engagement of young people in education through a nurturing and inclusive approach
