Job Title: Special Educational Needs Tutor
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and adaptable teachers to support young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English, Maths, Science, and Art.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- BUILD STRONG RAPPORT WITH STUDENTS, CREATING A CALM AND POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT.
- DEVELOP AND DELIVER ENGAGING, DIFFERENTIATED LESSON PLANS TAILORED TO INDIVIDUAL LEARNING NEEDS.
- SUPPORT STUDENTS IN SUBJECTS SUCH AS ENGLISH, MATHS, SCIENCE, AND ART, INCLUDING GCSE PREPARATION.
- WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH SCHOOLS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO TRACK AND REPORT ON STUDENT PROGRESS.
- CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL HEALTH CARE PLAN (EHCP).
- DE-ESCALATE CHALLENGING SITUATIONS WITH PROFESSONALISM AND EMPATHY.
Requirements:
A passionate educator committed to helping students achieve their potential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and other stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development and implementation of an EHCP.
Estimated Salary: £25-30 per hour, depending on experience.
