Job Purpose: As a key member of the Gen Tech Recruitment team, you will provide exceptional customer service and support in the aftersales department. Your primary goal is to exceed customer expectations by delivering a responsive, efficient, and cost-effective service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding promptly to customer enquiries regarding service, repairs, and spare parts. You will also ensure effective communication with customers regarding price quotes, lead times, and other essential information. In addition, you will enter parts and warranty sales orders onto the computerized sales order processing system in a timely and accurate manner.

Your strong collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team environment will enable you to work cross-departmentally to solve common problems for customers and dealers. You will process orders through to despatch and invoicing, including booking transport, and issue job instructions to field engineers to ensure work is completed effectively.

To facilitate customer payment for non-credit customers, you will coordinate with the Production Team to manufacture replacement parts for older version products. This involves liaising with customers on lead times, despatch, and delivery times. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships is crucial to your success in this role. You will conduct customer satisfaction surveys and gather feedback to improve services, addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Criteria:
- Prior experience of a computerised Sales Order Processing System
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment
- IT Skills proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Working Hours and Salary: The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The estimated salary for this position is £27,000 - £29,000 (dependent on experience). If you are interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, please contact us.
