Your Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to drive Airwallex's EU expansion plans as an experienced Sales Director. You will be responsible for overseeing our EU growth strategy while owning the full sales cycle, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing strategic clients.

You are a skilled sales professional capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations with multiple stakeholders, from the C-Suite to functional leaders. You can initiate these conversations and lead deals to conclusion with large companies, having an in-depth understanding of the buyer journey and complex sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify high-growth enterprise opportunities for Airwallex in the technology sector, pinpointing pain points and providing tailored solutions.
  2. Develop impactful sales strategies for target accounts, allocating necessary resources.
  3. Promote internal collaborations with pre-sales teams and partner managers to deliver optimal solutions.
  4. Manage a full sales cycle, from lead development through to close and launch.
  5. Nurture executive relationships with both new and existing clients.
  6. Work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance) to conduct product workshops and financial analyses.
  7. Contribute to refining our sales process and driving team projects.
  8. Engage with Product and Engineering teams to inform product strategy.
  9. Utilize Salesforce for end-to-end pipeline management, fostering strong working relationships with various sales teams and field marketing teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably selling technical or API products, with a proven track record of top performance.
  • Able to comprehend technical requirements and craft customized solutions across multiple products.
  • Capacity to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units within complex organizations.
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space.
