Financial Risk Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Underwriter to join our team at Legal & General. This is an exciting opportunity to work with customers, assessing life and disability risks, and deciding terms for Life, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection applications.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, able to accurately assess and document life and disability risks. They will also be responsible for identifying complaints and ensuring they are acted upon quickly. In addition, they will maintain excellent knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements, and understand risk factors for mortality and morbidity, financial underwriting, and legislations.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, flexible work arrangements, and a package that rewards performance and behaviour with benefits including:
