Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Specialist to join our team. As an Underwriting Expert, you will play a key role in assessing and managing financial risks associated with customer applications.



About the Role


In this exciting opportunity, you will review customer applications to identify potential risk factors, assess their suitability for Life, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection policies, and make informed decisions about policy terms and conditions.


You will work closely with customers, doctors, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information, ensuring accurate and timely assessments that meet regulatory requirements.


The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, a strong understanding of financial underwriting principles, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Key Responsibilities



  • Assess customer applications to identify potential risk factors and determine policy terms and conditions
  • Communicate with customers, doctors, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information
  • Ensure accurate and timely assessments that meet regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the underwriting process and improve system efficiency
  • Identify and escalate complaints and ensure prompt resolution
