Consultant Psychiatrist, East ATS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our East Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS) in Brighton & Hove. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist medical and psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatment to patients with complex and unstable mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and informal advice and guidance to non-medical team members.
- Fulfill the duties of Responsible Clinician for patients subject to Community Treatment Orders, including attendance at Managers Hearings and Tribunals.
- Conduct Mental Health Act assessments for patients on the team caseload.
- Liaise with inpatient Responsible Clinicians, forensic teams, and drug and alcohol services as required.

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment.Excellent knowledge in psychiatry and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.-
