Renewable Energy Sector Account Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at AIKO Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, acquiring key accounts, and managing existing key accounts in the utility renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new key accounts and expand existing relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-level stakeholders, including Utilities, Investors, Developers, and EPCs.
- Lead negotiations and provide support at the C-level to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Identify and analyze customer requirements, ensuring alignment with company offerings and driving sales growth.
- Collaborate with the solution engineering team to ensure customer needs are addressed in product development and service delivery.
- Present new products and services to key accounts, positioning AIKO Energy as a leader in the renewable energy market.
- Stay informed about industry trends and conduct market analysis to drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop innovative sales strategies to capture new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Analyze sales potential, identifying key areas for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the utility renewable energy sector at the European level, with a strong preference for candidates with export experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the solar utility business across Europe.
- Fluent in spoken and written business English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Extensive experience working with Utilities, Investors, Developers, and EPCs.
- Strong background in contract negotiations, particularly with senior management and C-level executives.
- A polished and cultivated business attitude, with a professional demeanor and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel more than 60% of the time across Europe.
- Possibility of working remotely, demonstrating self-discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams from different locations.
- A team player with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage internal and external stakeholders.
