About the Role

Barnardo's Futures is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Leeds. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing advice and support to Care Experienced Young People aged 18-25 within supported living accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support across a wide range of issues, including accessing key services, housing, welfare benefits, health, education, and employment.
  • Work closely with partner agencies, including Social Care, Housing Providers, Job Centre, and other mainstream providers.
  • Support young people to manage their work-life balance and achieve their goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Care Experienced Young People sector and the challenges they face.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable populations and providing support services.
