Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care and support to service users, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Promote, monitor, and maintain a safe environment at all times.
- Hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to successfully achieve this within the required timeframe.
- Be motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in young people's lives, creating a safe space and building resilience.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
- Flexibility to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable, but not essential with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
